At DAA and DP, we learn by doing and getting our hands dirty. Our work is rooted in the three dimensions of student achievement: mastery of knowledge and skills, character development, and high-quality work. Achieving mastery of grade level content and skills is only a foundation for our students. We believe that fostering character development is essential to helping our students become both effective learners and ethical people. As students and adults we seek out and accept feedback in order to produce high quality work that reflects complexity, craftsmanship, and authenticity. We work together to produce work and take actions that ultimately contribute to a better world. We are crew, not passengers.
