The Post Oak School is a premier Montessori school in Bellaire, Texas (Houston area) serving students from age 14 months through high school. Post Oak is authorized as an IB World School to offer the IB Diploma Program for grades 11 and 12.

One of the U.S.’ oldest Montessori schools, The Post Oak School is an educational leader both among Houston’s top private schools and among the more than 5,000 Montessori schools across the country. We have attracted an accomplished team of faculty and staff and built campuses dedicated to learning. The Post Oak School has operated continuously since 1963 and is a non-profit corporation. With a faculty and staff of 85 and student enrollment of over 475, we provide a culturally diverse student population with a comprehensive Montessori education steeped in AMI heritage and fully accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and at the high school level, by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
