Lead Teacher

Little Guppy of O'Fallon is now hiring Lead Teachers to work in our Preschool classrooms!

Compensation: $15-17 per hour, based on experience and education

Shift: Full-time, 7:30am-4:30pm

Our mission is to hire the BEST employees to provide top-notch care for our children in our licensed childcare facility, all while having fun!

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
• Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
• Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• CDA or higher preferred
• Previous experience in a childcare setting required
