Oak Forest Academy is urgently hiring Assistant Teachers who are seeking to expand upon their experience and knowledge. All candidates should be flexible in their availability to work within the operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in a smoke free environment. Age group: Infants/Toddlers Salary : $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience and education Shift : Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm Who are we looking for?

- Maintain DFPS guidelines for Minimum Standards at all times.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Committed to building a positive team culture.
- Pass required state and company background checks, including FBI fingerprinting.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- At least 18 years of age with 1+ year of early childhood experience working in a professional setting preferred.
- Bachelors in early childhood or relevant preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
- Proficient technological skills including the ability to use a desktop computer, associated software and an electronic tablet.
